Certificate in Health Systems Leadership & Management (CHSLM)
The innovative, executive-style Health System Leadership and Management (CHSLM) program of the ULSOPH is tailored for hospital and healthcare administrators as part of educational activities offered for a Master’s in Public Health program. This CHSLM
program focuses on developing critical leadership and management competencies necessary in a resilient and responsive health system as envisioned by the Liberian Ministry of Health. An experiential teaching method will be utilized, including interactive lectures, facilitated discussions, team exercises, and applied projects through which participants will develop and apply key leadership and management skills to address key system problems with evidence-based strategies, effective management, and accountable governance in hospitals. The
program encourages a team-based approached to strengthen learning and application of new skills through instructor and peer interactions.
